Literary analysis
In the Count of Monte Cristo they both explore the theme of freedom in different ways. Freedom can be an escape from control or reality. In Count of Monte Cristo a man is in prison and is trying to starve himself, then he hears a noise from the wall. He realizes its a prisoner and he starts eating again hoping he can reclaim his freedom. In the scene of “From Blessings” Jesse and Rene escape from reality.

A example of the main idea being freedom from the Count of Monte Cristo is “There can be no doubt about it thought me it is some prisoners striving to obtain freedom. Oh if I were only there to help him.” An example from the Blessings is them not talking about the problems and relaxing.

Both have a sense of freedom and getting away from reality.

  1. "An example from the Blessings is them not talking about the problems and relaxing." What? Little confusing
Both have a sense of freedom and getting away from reality. That's all, add some more detail into it
“There can be no doubt about it thought me it is some prisoners striving to obtain freedom. Oh if I were only there to help him.” Great Detail!
